Nazir Ayaz Sahib
Our beloved Ayaz Shaib was loved by every single member of our Jamaat because of the love he had for us all. He loved and cared for everyone equally, regardless of age, occupation, or status. I knew Ayaz Sahib for 35 years, and he was always like a father to me. He always kept touch with everyone, and he cared for everyone's wellbeing.
He also made sure every member in Queens Jamaat was active and would regularly call to remind us of upcoming events, activities, chanda that was due, and to urge us to come to masjid to pray in congregation. He truly brought out the best in all of us. Ayaz Sahib will be dearly missed.
