Nazir Ayaz was born in Tanga, Tanzania in 1946. Mr. Ayaz held a special fondness for the country of his birth and served as the HF-USA Country Director for Tanzania. Under his guidance several of Humanity First's banner programs were launched in Tanzania, including Healthcare, Water for Life, Education, and Vocational Training.
His latest endeavor was to open a Health Center in the capital city of Dodoma, Tanzania to provide much needed healthcare to the area. He was very excited about opening a healthcenter and worked tirelessly to get equipment and funds. A week prior to passing away Mr. Ayaz successfully arranged for a shipment of medical equipment to be sent to Tanzania.

Tanzania Health Center
Health Center, Dodoma, Tanzania.
Tanzania is located in East Africa and has a population of over 38 million. Over 90 percent of the population lives below the international poverty line of $2 a day; almost 95 percent of these individuals live in rural areas and their livelihoods depend on small-scale farming and livestock. Humanity First has been registered in Tanzania as a charity organization for the past several years.
Humanity First is an international non-profit humanitarian organization established to promote and safeguard human life and dignity. It is a non-political, non-religious, non-sectarian international relief and development agency that works with the world’s poor and vulnerable people. We aim to:
- Relieve suffering caused by natural disasters or human conflict
- Promote peace and understanding based upon mutual tolerance and respect
- Strengthen people’s capacity to help themselves
Humanity First, USA is opening a health center in Dodoma, Tanzania, including urgent care, vaccinations, diagnostic testing, X-ray capabilities and walk-in treatment. Medical equipment is being donated through various NGO’s. We need your help to fund this initiative!
Humanity First has successfully run health clinics worldwide including the most recent one in Mali, a 24/7 facility which includes in-patient and out-patient general and specialized medical services, a pharmacy, laboratory and pre/post-natal health services. With your help, the center will be one of the first of its kind in the region and offer easy health care access to thousands. The clinic will provide services to everyone regardless of income or social status.
